    Curious about Dark Mirror, I googled it and came across the Bandersnatch! Hey, I thought, isn't that the creature dreamed up by Larry Niven in his Science Fiction world inhabited by Louis Wu? More googling, and I find that the original Bandersnatch was in fact a 19th century Lewis Carroll invention in "The Hunting of the Snark"!

    Sophie's Blog may well be required O-Level reading in 100 years?

    My Sister is really into walking, ok i play football, but that's 90 minutes then i drop into a heap.
    If i eate any more i'll be like fat bastard in Austin Power.
    No idea on that.
    50 pages of high quality crap lol

    Meanwhile

    Things going well with my Sister, Aunt's have been a bit like a cross between Ellen G & Dr.Phil.
    We were dancing to blame it on the boogie (we used to do that we little) my Sister has clearly been kidnapped by Aliens
    & has been replaced with this lovely creature.

    I've watched some of Black Mirror recently. While it is well made it is largely unpleasant... I still want to look forward to the future and they are really messing with that. It is all too plausible along with being unpleasant.

    I'd love that apartment!!!!

    First of all, hope your Christmas/Holidays was good, if not, i've got a remedy = Brand new unused year called 2019.
    Mind you being a 20th child, i've been writing down 1919; for a few hours my mates in Australia (aka home) are time
    travellers as its already 2019 there.

    I've learnt not to try to phone them at their midnight, i'll A/Not get through (network overloaded) B/ Not hear as its all
    arghhhhhhhhhhh in the background and people saying "I don't know who you are, but i love you".

    When i was with the Marine, she phoned me at Midnight from West Coast US & i was in London.
    So 6am, i sounded like i'd had root canal & fell out of bed trying to get my phone.

    I did NYE in Sydney 10 years back & saw the fireworks, oh fuck!!!! if you get the opportunity go for it1!!!!

    My Christmas, was good, things with my Sister are good, probably the best since we were kids.

    See what happens from here, i don't like NYE not 100% sure why i don't, but i don't do goodbyes, but maybe that's it.

    Been invited to a party & will see the fireworks at Midnight/Big Ben (won't see it because its been restored but will hear it).
    But while the London Underground is free after Midnight, i'll stay put till breakfast, some of the sights we saw last year on it
    going home, not trouble but oh boy lol

    Thanks for making me feel welcome in '18, here's to '19.
