My Avatar is hurt and offended....

 

How about 'sexiest avatar' instead and yours is still in the running for 'best'?

 

I lusted after Michelle Ryan for so long.

I didn't think "The Bionic Woman" was that bad.
Michelle was good in it, but it was doomed because of the then Writers strike.

Then i saw Michelle on Stage in London in 2012 as Sally Bowles (The Liza Minnelli role).

Cabaret is i think my Fav musical, so with the combination of Michelle in the lead.
I thought yes! while Michelle looked good in the publicity shoot (and still looks good today)
she had all the stage presence/sex appeal of a Sloth, she came across as cool and wooden.
She doesn't actually appear as in the first pic, that was for pre-publicity.

In contrast, i saw a actor called Amy Nuttall in 2011 in the same role.
Like for Michelle, we were in 3rd row in front of the stage, Amy worked the audience
and sang to me (always helped) Michelle came across as cold (ignored the audience), Amy was hot.

 

Yeah, the writers strike screwed up a lot. I liked the Bionic Woman remake actually, sadly she vanished from the American landscape after that.

Damn, what is it with you being seduced by actresses on stage?

 

It was really bad timing career wise for Michelle.

Amy was playing the role, Michelle came over as cold.
Can't blame Michelle entirely as the production was a "Re-imagining", whereas Amy's was in the more traditional Cabaret mode.

I thought if it wasn't broke, why fix it?

Why would you have to re-imagine Cabaret With all this evidence; Michelle just doesn't seem a good fit for the role, Amy is though. Though maybe Michelle just wasn't as passionate about it as Amy.

 

I agree on the re-imagining, i don't think it helped for Michelle that she was miscast.

I've been meaning to ask someone, and you strike me as a fan... what's up with that outfit she wears as the Doctor?

Perhaps it's just me and my total lack of fashion sense, but those pants look like cross between a capri and bellbottom fail, and the whole color scheme of the outfit is quite, ummm... jarring...

Is there some series related reasoning behind it?
