    When people think Baywatch, they think T&A, not raunchy jokes and dialog. I'm not sure what Rock was thinking about on this project. Oh well.

    I just saw the movie ...my mini review:
    It's not nearly as bad as the critics are trashing it, but it could use a lot less dick, and a lot more T&A. There were some funny parts to it.
    Worth seeing.....I would give it a generous 6/10.

    It sounds like a movie that will fall into the "I'll always watch it when I see it in the TV guide" category. Not bad enough to make you want to turn the channel, and enough T&A to keep you watching for the next scene. And, hopefully funny enough to not reveal your true motivations to any females within viewing/hearing distance.

    Yes. If I'm not wrong, season 1 was more serious and there was another guy as co-star ... but it failed. They changed everything for s2, it was more fun, campy and they reinvented the swimwuit, Pamela and Yasmine stole the show, then came Carmen, Erika, Donna...
    I said it when the trailer came out, it looked like 21 Jump Street on the beach (I haven't seen 21js :D ) The Rock is ok, I guess, but Efron?? Baywatch was about the girls...

    I don't know, one way or another it was meant to flop, I mean it's a Baywatch movie :confused:

    I'll admit I never watched the TV show. Besides Yasmine and Alexandra (Paul that is) none of the other women caught my eye. The concept was..."oh give me a break!" I was thinking of sneaking out to see the movie because the trailers looked funny, the girls weren't plastic, and who doesn't like The Rock. The reviews killed that idea. Did see Pirates last Saturday (better than that last one), and will be seeing WW this Saturday... I love the reserved reclining leather seats of my local theater...

    I think he wanted to appeal to women more, thus two beefcakes as the leads, dick jokes, no topless Alexandra. TV Baywatch's reputation and movie reviews probably turned off women and others.... Thus a belly flop.
