So true, it would be like throwing a molotov cocktail into the house you're living in. Watching the race evolve, or devolve if you like, I can understand the polls from some months ago that said Bernie Sanders would do better than Hillary against Trump. If Trump didn't act like a petulant spoiled bully, nearly every day, and stayed on policy Hillary might be in trouble. In a less scandal filled race, Bernie would have probably won. I get the whole anti-establishment revolution thing, but the right only has themselves to thank. The Republican party birthed astroturf which led to the Tea Party and then the radicalized Trump cult. Obama foolishly spent the first two years of his first term trying for bipartisanship and trying to get greedy healthcare companies under control, when he should have been ramming reform after reform through the Dem majority. The best outcome of this election will be a destroyed Republican Party, suicide really, and Trump in jail for incitement to riot if there is any trouble on Nov. 9th.

You don't live here, what suffering people? Last year Americans spent $630,000,000 on Valentines days gifts for their pets. That's a greater sum than the GDP of 90% of the nations on Earth produce. Most of the people in this country complaining about shit are the type of people who complain about shit because that's their m.o. "This country is going to shit!" they exclaim from the cab of their $30,000 pickup truck. "I had to switch from drinking Bud Light to Natural Light just so I can afford to pay my $200 a month cell phone plan."

You make a good point. However, I hardly think that most of the people that complain are driving around in 30,000 dollar vehicle or paying 200 phone bills. Jack's right about the middle class disappearing. Unfortunately, the displaced middle class are not moving to the upper class. They are heading further and further towards poverty. That's not to say that your point has no merit, but I think you are greatly over selling how many of the complainers are actually pretty well off.

Also, i think your point about how much was spent on pets for Valentine's day is pretty telling about our country. I'm not swimming in money by any means, however I do have an almost 300 dollar a month phone bill and around the same for cable. Somehow, the little bit extra that I splurge on every month is just the push I need to continue the mundane task of going to work every day.

$300 a month phone bill? Why is it so high?

You seem to be confusing the people who complain on social media because it makes them feel better about themselves with to the people who are actually loosing their jobs etc.

This is how NAFTA affected US workers: http://www.epi.org/blog/naftas-impact-workers/

The TPP has been described by many as "NAFTA on steroids"

Personally, I'm more against the TPP because of the environmental implications. The TPP pretty much hands over all control to the mega corporations meaning that the countries involved in the TPP will have a much harder time getting environmental regulations passed, if any. Also there is the trickle down problem of what happens in the US eventually affects the rest of the world, especially when it comes to forign policy and economy.

Drumpf could've most definitely beaten Shillary. All he needed to do was use the same message of anti-establishment rhetoric of "I don't have a Super PAC but my opponents do." and he could've wrecked her. But, he's to god-damned stupid and has no clue what he's actually doing. He has no ground-game. He kept pleading to the corporations and the rich to give him Super PAC money... but was a loser at that. He doesn't spend his money wisely at all (1 office in all of Florida (battleground state) while Shillary had over 100). He can't stay on message at all. He's a loser plain and simple.

And, it's true that Sanders would've roflstomped Drumpf into the dirt. That is because Drumpf's anti-establishment tactic would have never worked on Sanders. Of course, the Establishment would've shit their pants of a choice of Sanders (absolutely despised by the Establishment) and Drumpf (hated by the Establishment because he has no policy and said he'd be willing to bankrupt the country for "a better deal"), and that would've been hilarious to watch.

I don't think Trump ever intended to win; I don't think it was ever his plan. I think it started out as a publicity stunt and then when it actually started winning in the polls he couldn't stop. If he was a logical person he would have jumped ship long ago, but he has the temperament of a 5 year old and can't stand loosing.

The TPP will be an epic disaster for the 99% while the 1% will wallow in the cash they'll be making. Mainly because, as you stated it, it takes away our sovereign rights to regulate ourselves. A corporation doesn't like a law that we put to protect US citizens... boom to foreign court system. It's a travesty.

Yeah, I've been thinking this all along, but now his ego won't let it go. Another vote here that TPP is bad.

If Sanders was her running mate, it wouldn't even be a contest, but I'm sure she wanted someone she could control as VP.

I have thought this as well. Publicity stunt that went awry and before he knew it, he was in too deep to turn back. The guy has shown no game plan, no direction. It's really like a person that was caught completely off guard and is scrambling to piece something together. Problem is, every time he opens his mouth he sticks his foot right in it.

Not really. When he opens his mouth he isn't looking to propose policy or try and present a vision for the country, he's just trying to get attention. Say what you will about him but he is a genius at PR. He has manipulated the media into giving him billions of Dollars worth of airtime for free. His spending is probably the lowest of any major candidate in the election cycle.

It will, he's been building up to it all year. The public is distrustful of the mainstream media, they think it's bias and corrupt...which it sort of is, but that's another discussion. After the election he'll say that the media colluded with Hillary to destroy his campaign and he'll then offer up Trump TV, where people can get the "truth".

Whatever his motivations are, I stand by my statement. Every time he opens his mouth he puts his foot in it. Doing that by design doesn't change the fact. I agree with you as far as him not proposing anything. That's been my major issue with him. Hell, ill admit that there was a part of me that was under the belief that we need someone who is not a career politician. This guy has been a joke though. His plan has been to get on a microphone and just blurt out the most ridiculous shit. Sure, hes garnered attention. What kind of attention, though? Not positive from my point of view.

I agree with this. She would've had the Sanders supporters on her side in a heartbeat and it'd be like a 20+ point lead right now. However, I don't think the reason she didn't choose him isn't because she couldn't control him. I believe that she didn't want to have someone that she would have to talk to on a regular basis who she totally disagrees with on almost every policy. It's the same with Elizabeth Warren. She would've brought over a lot of the Sanders supporters in a heartbeat, but Clinton cannot stand people who she disagrees with.

Fox Propaganda, the dead Blaze, Trump TV, etc.... Continually brainwashing their viewers by telling them to ONLY watch them as no one else can be trusted. It's how Drumpf succeeded. So, we'll have Drumpf 2.0 probably in 8 years that will also get destroyed by the Democrats (or, hopefully a 3rd party by that time).
