hoping that was an isolated thing, because I enjoyed the first. will re-watch ep.2 tonight

As I recall, and its been years since I saw the movie, in the movie, the question about the guns was asked by the Richard Benjamin character. These are special guns that would "recognize" when it was pointed at a real human and not fire.

I could be wrong, like I said, its been years since I saw the movie, but the Yul Brynner robot scared the crap out of me!

 

when the train pulled into the station, first thing i thought of was hennigans stead from RDR.

Also liking the "westernized" rock music. so far i've heard soundgarden, radiohead and the rolling stones

 

Yul Brenner could be a scary guy.

 

Yeah agree on the music. Really caught my attention with "Black Hole Sun." Nice touch.

“It’s the bullets. We thought a lot about this. In the original film, the guns won’t operate guest on guest, but we felt like the guests would want to have a more visceral experience here. So when they’re shot it has sort of the impact. They’re called simunitions. The U.S. military trains with rounds like the ones we’re talking about. But there’s a bit of an impact, a bit of a sting. So it’s not entirely consequence-free for the guests.”
