This is sadly true. Unfortunately they're not angry at the right things. They should be angry at themselves for allowing this nation to become the land of the stupid.

We live in a society where most people believe everything they see or hear from the media. IMO they get their opinions, philosophies and life lessons from THIS society, which is comprised of nothing but battling agendas. Its gotten to the point where if someone is a free (or critical) thinker, he/she is demonized for questioning what most people accept as fact, based on nothing but seeing it on tv, or the internet.

Patrice O'Neal (R.I.P) had a great quote about current society, "People have tried to corner the market on being offended, corner the market on language, and corner the market on opinion. Should I lose my job cuz I offended somebody? No, of course not. Your life should never be affected by public opinion."

That'd be fine by me except that instead of inviting actual discussion, they've taken the Donald Trump approach to sharing their opinions or views, which is as follows:
    1) State your own awesomeness
    2) Make up a fake outrageous thing that nobody actually believes, and then bitch about it as if they do
    3) Insult other parties who believe such things
    4) Claim that you're unique because you 'keep it real' by actually talking about said fake thing
    5) Re-state how awesome you are
    6) Go back to #2 and repeat

I honestly don't follow it close enough or care about her crappy music to really know but I think its the same thing. I saw the court documents linked in a CNN article and from his twitter when I first read about this a couple months ago. I'm pretty sure this has been going on for years at this point so its probably the same. She hasn't had a single in forever and she owes Sony or whoever money. She's trying to get out of it.

Yes, but Barry Crimmins, an older and much wiser comic and activist said this: “You know who the biggest suckheads in the world are? People who think they’re clever by being like, ‘Well, I happen to be politically incorrect!’ And now you get to act like you’re a cutting-edge rebel because you’re reinforcing the oppressive status quo! You sack of fucking rancid horse assholes!”

That's your opinion. As for the quote (which has nothing to do with the one I posted, contextually speaking), there's a difference between an asshole who uses being "politically incorrect" as some sort of ego-placating boast, and someone who genuinely recognizes when society tries to dictate the feelings, thought processes, and behavior of its people, and will speak on it. That's my opinion.

Funny how it's always the least oppressed persons whining like a bunch of Baby-Cunts whenever somebody complaints about oppression and or being offended.

    They're typically:

White: A race of people who for the most part have not experienced many hardships in regards to the color of their skin. I mean, name ONE plight at any age in history from B.C. to 2016 that White folks can say they've experienced EXCLUSIVELY. No. I asked this to somebody before, and they brought up every hardship they've ever experienced: being Broke, not having medical insurance, getting divorced, being depressed, losing a pregnancy, etc. Like LITERALLY they think that's the same as what other ethnic or social groups of experienced. People have their heads so far up their own ass, that they don't realize that what they're smelling is abnormal.

Straight: A group of people who have never been denied any opportunities in their life based on their sexuality....besides the right to oppress another group of people. Which, they're totally fighting for now like a bunch of cunts immune to the existence of fucking irony. As a Straight Male (a REAL, AUTHENTIC, Straight Male who doesn't need to act paralyzed with fear around Gay Men to convince himself he doesn't want to suck their Cocks) I am COMPLETELY bewildered by the fact that in 2016 there is still discussion of this shit.

Male: A group that when given the proper cards, or building a proper deck and playing it wisely can achieve anything based solely on having genitals located on the outside of their anatomy. A group that if they do horrible things will still have plenty of supporters. Unlike Women, who if they as much as have their personal photos stolen from a phone are labeled whores, sluts, and other choice words. Where in certain areas of the world are killed for shit not even half as bad as some shit Men write SONGS about doing. Interesting, eh?

But they hear the words Rape. Black Lives Matter. Gay Pride, etc. And they need to clown the fuck out of it. Claim they're doing so because they're tired of "PC bullshit". Why? Because these are things they can't fully bank on in 2016. It's shit they can't control and claim ownership of. Some have, and some still try to...But people a lot more vocal now than they were years earlier.

The whole decrying of "PC" is just a bunch of people realizing that there's so shit they shouldn't do and not being able to come to terms with it because they're small minded people with even smallest penises. Or, in the Women's cases, Women who simply hate themselves and don't know what to do about it.

OK sure, but isn't that what everyone who feels they voice an unpopular opinion would say?

I strongly disagree with one of the sides here but also recognise that reasonable people can disagree and it doesn't mean the other side are awful, baby seal-clubbing monsters. They genuinely believe it, they have good intentions even if I think they are pretty mistaken. It's quite hard to see things from the other person's point of view, and rare enough that people try.

And anyway, do you remember that time one of these Internet discussions on feminism, equality or political correctness ended with one person saying "You know what? You're right, you've convinced me". No me neither, because it hasn't frigging happened yet!

I don't claim to speak for anyone but myself. In my personal experiences (and random internet travels), I've yet to see people on opposite sides of an argument be logical, on topics society would like to indoctrinate people in. Most of what I see is emotionally-fueled opinions, masquerading as fact. What makes an opinion "unpopular" in the first place? Is it an arbitrary label placed on any feeling or point of view that goes against what society deems valid?

For instance, the whole Bruce Jenner thing. I can be calm and logical in explaining why I won't call him anything but the man he is. But even though there's no maliciousness on my part, whilst having an opinion on the topic, people would call me "transphobic" "intolerant" "asshole", etc. These insults mean nothing to me, because they're coming from an emotional place, from people who look to society (of all places) for morals and values. All I'm saying is, I don't like that some people never question what they're told to think/feel/believe, and subsequently insist that because they don't, nobody else should either. It's as if free thinking is demonized for not "going along with the program". As for myself, I'm all for varying opinions, and I'll listen to any argument about any subject as long as there's a deeper reasoning beyond "I heard other people say it, so it must be true", behind it. I think that's fair.

That's almost a coherent argument. I'm not sure what for, but good try anyway.

Efficiency is the key to being a truly dismissive asshole.

It’s not funny at all. It is entirely predictable. Straight white males are the Devil of the social justice/feminist religion. When straight white men who lack the only real privileges, Wealth, Class, and Beauty, hear someone call them privileged, it will be met with disbelief and possibly aggression.

So lets deconstruct your assertions here.

White: Lets assume you mean phenotypical whiteness because it certainly has nothing to do with race. You’re asking for an example of a form of oppression that was exclusive to white people. Guess what, there aren’t any. Just as there are no forms of oppression exclusive to any other people of any other phenotype. If you want to trade walls of texts for examples, I’ll oblige when I have time. For now I’ll stick with the go to answer.

Slavery. Slavery was not unique to black people. Even during the African slave trade the Native Americans, Irish, and Chinese were enslaved. Due to their lesser cash value and non lifetime property status, they were also subjected to harsher overall treatment. Think of it as the difference between how you care for your personal car vs. a rental that you paid the extra insurance cost on. Both are horrible ways to treat people but I would prefer one form of property status to the other.

Straight: You are correct that it is better to be straight than gay in any society. Of course this is mathematics not oppression. It must suck to know that less than 10 percent of the population is oriented similarly and therefore your partner choices are severely limited. As far as the legal rights are concerned, in the united states at least, the battle is won. And I’m happy it is, so I no longer have to be a gay rights advocate. That crap was time consuming and pointless, as the majority of the public had been on board since 1998. I like to think of it as the Will & Grace effect.

Male: You say it yourself, if a man is born privileged he will likely remain so. It has nothing to do with his outwardly facing genitalia and everything to do with money, social class, or attractiveness. If you don’t start off with these traits you are more likely to end up homeless or committing suicide than your female counterparts. Male is also the first group of people we have discussed that lacks a right the other group has, in western culture at least. The list is long and could have it’s own wall of text, so I’ll again go with the simple example. No part of a female baby’s body is routinely removed for her future sex partners aesthetic preference. Mothers circumcise their sons because they prefer circumcised penises and they assume the same is true of his future wife. They freely admit this once you disprove all the “medical” and “cleanliness” arguments that are the shield for this behavior.

Being PC is not going to help any of this. All the rights gained in the civil rights, women’s rights, and gay rights movements were achieved in the most politically incorrect way. By forcing people to look at reality even when it offended them. Because nobody has the right not to be offended. Furthermore, you have no right to limit speech even if it goes against your religion of justice and peace.

We've got a lot of poster here that seem like the type of people who spend an inordinate amount of type lamenting about SJW's in forums and not in an ironic way either.

Yes, she claims she was raped, but then spent years afterwards continuing to work closely with him for years after wards with no problem.
I know victims don't like to report such atrocities when they happen (not aided by braindead feminists repeating the 'you won't believed' scare story), but would you continue to work closely with someone if they genuinely did do something so bad to you?

The issue here is all about money, from both Kesha and Kemosabe (she is contracted to them, not Sony directly). This whole legal battle is about Kesha getting out of the contract she no longer likes by any means, other than stumping up the fee to buy herself out of her recording contract.

I'm not saying she is lying, but money has caused a lot of people to do very devious things when it would benefit them financially. If her recording contract was torn up due to these allegations, it would save her millions in having to buy herself out of it, and due to having a bit of fame now compared to when she signed that contract she would be able to negotiate a contract that had better terms for herself.

I mean if all she wanted was to never work with him, Kemosabe (and Sony) have been very accommodating considering the lack of details and evidence surrounding her allegations, they have attempted to diffuse the situation by saying she could record without the involvement of Lukasz, but Kesha's side hasn't budged one bit, claiming all sorts of conspiracies that anyone with a brain can see wouldn't happen since they are in the business of making money, and they aren't going to do things that would reduce it.

Kemosabe (and Sony) have invested a lot of money into her career, and this is why labels insist on strict contracts, to protect that investment by stopping the artist running off when their career takes off.
Allowing her to break her contract would also create a dangerous precedent that would spread across the music industry, allowing many other artists to break their contract in order to get more money by making claims against their producer.

At this point I doubt that Kemosabe (as the label she is signed to) or Sony (as the owners of Kemosabe) want to retain the relationship with Kesha, due to the damage she has caused them. At some point an agreement is going to made, with Kesha and Kemosabe parting ways, likely with Kesha paying a hefty fee to buy herself out of her contract.

Yes, of course she is more than willing to work with Sony. To do that, she would have to sign a contract with Sony, a contract that she would be able to negotiate and get better terms than her current one.
She isn't signed to Sony, she is signed to Kemosabe Records.

As you say, she claims she doesn't want to work with that particular producer, and that is something she was already granted but turned down, Kemosabe (and Sony) have given her more choices than they had to, and she turned them down because they weren't good enough for her.

This is nothing more than a contract dispute, something that has happened multiple times before, artists sign contracts and then get unhappy when they get fame, they either fulfill the terms and then go on to sign better deals, or they buy themselves out of them.
What has happened here though is that Kesha has been failing in court to get her way, so came with the rape claims in the hope of the court of public opinion would influence her legal battle, hoping the idiotic Feminist outrage would work in her favour. I guess she didn't wager on getting a female judge residing over her case, who wouldn't take pity and side with her because of the genitalia between her legs rather than the argument but before her.

As for the belief she was raped, well I would be more inclined to believe her story if her legal team would provide details of the actual alleged actions, but none have been forthcoming. So forgive me while I have little time for her rape claim, there is little of substance to make me believe it is her genuine motive, whilst there is a lot of stuff that makes me believe this is all about personal greed and a want for a better contract elsewhere.

While it was involved in another case (where she was also trying to have a contract broken...), the allegations will be relevant to this one, as she is now alleging Lukasz Gottwald of doing things that she previously stated under oath he didn't do in that case.

It means she either lied then, under oath (and saying she was forced to do it doesn't cut it with me, would you commit a crime by lying in court simply because someone said to?) in order to break that contract, or she is lying now in order to break this one.

To the best of my knowledge that case had both Kesha and Dr Luke accused of the same breach of contract against a manager. The questioning about rape and abuse came about not because of Kesha but because her mother was claiming Kesha had been being victimized.

I certainly don't find it hard to believe a victim or even someone who had convinced themselves to be a victim would continue contact with their abuser or lie to protect them. There are many firm examples of such things, cases of Stockholm syndrome are well documented. Fear is a powerful indoctrinator, just look at the rise of ISIS or supporters of Trump.

There's a thing that bugs me in your scenario, which is basically addressed on my original post. I haven't followed the case closely, but I assume there's a rape trial coming up. I'm sure Dr Luke has sued for defamation, so there's also this trial.

In case the allegations are proven to be false, she could also be sued for breach of contract, since she would have gotten out of it under false allegations. Not to mention the damage in her public figure, if she's just crying "rape".

All in all, she potentially has more to lose if it's proven to be that she's faking the whole story to get out of her contract.

I mean, she could just follow the example set by the Rolling Stones.
