Or fight to make it where men who get paid ten times less than women in both porn and modelling get equal pay to women. But it was never about equality.

 

There's a lot of worthy issues to tackle when it come to equality but only so much time in the day.

If she'd tackle one of those issues someone would just bring up another issue followed by "but it was never about equality".

 

Modeling and porn are the worst examples for your argument. Porn is still nearly exclusively geared towards men, putting a higher premium on female performers. Female models make more because they either model products geared towards women (fashion, make up, etc), highly marketable items, or towards the male gaze as objects of lust or accessories to market products.

 

Men and women are completely different in their view of the world, I believe some part might even be in our genes since even in this modern age, a man is still driven to protect a woman instinctively, when he wouldn't do the same for a man.

I do believe equality is needed as far as a paid job and job opportunities go. But in the end, we'll never be equals, men will always be more lenient and understanding when faced with a beautiful woman (or just any woman for that matter), and women will always use the fact that they are attractive and know it to get special treatment, be it professionally or privately.

A lot of my girlfriends regularly go out knowing that men will pay for their drinks or meals (and they openly admit it). And it's expected of us to do this, either by chivalry or because you're hoping to get lucky.

We're driven to protect, women are driven to find a protector, it's the same in the whole mammal reign, we can try to fight it, but deep down, I believe it's hardcoded.

TL;DR we should push forward and give equal opportunities and salaries to women, but there will always be a difference between men and women as to how they each see the world and react to it.
