    I'm starting to think Taylor has a side business here. For a price, Taylor will let you come on stage with her, perform one of your songs, and get wild publicity for it.

    Yes, except Taylor doesn't need the money. On top of owning all the rights to everything she does, she also owns a large slice of Big Machine, her record label. That's why she does all that recruiting work for them. If she isn't already, she will very shortly be the most powerful person in the music industry, given her ability to make or beak an act with a single tweet. And as long as she keeps writing and stays out of trouble that's not gonna change anytime soon. In fact the only one of those girls who was at her LA show who comes anywhere NEAR her level is Avril, by virtue of he fact that she also does all her own writing.

    All parties benefit. The guest benefits from being exposed to TS's massive fan base and Taylor gets an interesting 4 minutes for her sensory circus of a show. The guests are doing their hits. If Sisqo shows up at one of the dates, you can expect "Thong Song".
