I think autographs are silly, I would never ask for one.

 

Met Brian Denehy in the lobby of a hotel in OKC years ago. Nice guy. Other than that, countless country music singers, my fave being Shania Twain the year before her career exploded. Beautiful and down to earth.

 

Met Marshall Faulk when I was 9 at a mall. Just couple of months after the Rams won the Super Bowl!

funny thing is celebrity to some may not be a celeb to you.

my buddy is a houston rapper and I have met many people in the rap world that i had no clue who they were, but to some it was like you met WHO, wow

best story was when travie mccoy was supposed to be clean, dating katy perry and we meet him and Paul Wall in his hotel so he can buy more drugs. Was crazy since was all in the news he was out of rehab and clean.

Or going to the titty bar with a rapper named OG Ron C, if you wanna see girls go crazy take him to the titty bar. To me he was some guy I met, but that guy coulda had any chick he wanted.

Met a lot of football players when the Super Bowl was played in New Orleans. I was working in a building that was part of the Super Dome complex. Had a beer with a bunch of them at different times. Joe Thiesman was the most memorable. Otis Sistrunk got me very drunk one night. Joe Klecko wanted to arm wrestle when we were both drunk. Met Kareem Abdul Jabbar in a first class lounge. He was very nice.
Met Angie Dickinson in a first class lounge in London and she was nice too. Flown on planes with a bunch of supermodels going to London at different times back in the 90's. They look a lot different without their makeup. The models would go in the bathroom just before landing and put on their makeup and I would recognize them then.
There are some more but I've had too much bourbon to think clearly right now. Never asked for an autograph.

the only hollywood famous people i've ever met were keira knightly and vin diesel. i also met vanilla ice, if that still counts

 

I've met some pretty famous female stars (actresses and singers) but not the biggest except for one Academy Award winner. I can't name any of them because it was on professional terms. Vince Vaughn used to appear often at one of my favorite watering holes and my female friends were smitten by him.

Other than that, I've met Eddie Vedder at Lollapalooza back in '91 in the mosh pit, and when I was 9 years old I met Liberace outside the theater where he was scheduled to play later that afternoon and I was star-struck because he was the first person I ever met that I had seen on TV (and he was also a character on the Flintstones). :tongue:

So many professional baseball players it doesn't matter - I don't really count athletes as celebrities because they are a lot more accessible than Hollywood actresses - and a couple of guys I played against that have gone on to careers in the Majors.

I've met quite a few, my favourites were Iron Maiden in a pub. So many people sent drinks over to them that they just asked me to help drink them. It's a once in a lifetime event. Getting pissed with Metal Gods.

Testament were very cool, as were Paradise Lost, Napalm Death and the guys from Carcass.

The worst were Sepultura. I actually had that little shit Igor by the collar because he refused to sign my leather in tyre pen after all the others did it and I wasn't going to let him spoil my jacket.
