It's inane to claim that Watson's been "prudish" or that it's unlikely she'd do nudity. As has been pointed out, all the way back when she was still making Harry Potter, she gave an interview saying she'd be willing to do nudity for the right project. She named Bertolucci as a director she'd do it for, but the point she was making was that she's interested in making high-quality, artistic movies, not boring, sexless ones. Remember, Bertolucci directed "The Last Tango in Paris," "Stealing Beauty" and "The Dreamers." What she said about doing nudity was, "It's my job, isn't it? I'm an actress." The fact that the movies she's been interested in doing since haven't required it doesn't mean that she has anything against nudity.

I'm also, though, kind of baffled by the comments about what we've seen in these Colonia stills! Nudity? No... But she's clearly doing directly-sexual love scenes. Isn't that a nice step in a direction we want to see?

And then, of course, there's the fact that huge numbers of posters here who are clamoring their dissatisfaction with the apparent lack of nudity here are the same twerps who spent years clamoring to see Miley Cyrus' tits, and as soon as they did, started insulting her for showing them.

There's absolutely no difference, however, between guys who spend years clamoring for a young woman to be photographed naked, only to call her a skank when she is, and the south end of a northbound skunk with diarrhea.

Yes, and I'm presuming that means for him or another director she holds in the same regard, and for the right role/tasteful.

It's a nice thought, but there are older actresses that never did a nude scene, and others who are very unlikely to ever do it. Jessica Alba, Lacey Chabert, Kristin Kreuk, Elisha Cuthbert, etc.

I stand corrected. I assumed she would only do sexless nudity. I didn't know about the 'Bertolucci' comment. I wouldn't think of replacing Eva or Maria, but the image of 'Hermione' in those roles does raise hairs.

 

I'm pretty sure these four are not close to being A-listers. Most A-listers do get nude sooner or later.
