With half the post in this thread asking "What is the source of these?" "What movie is this from?".....why not simply add the movie title next to the person's name?

I think it's awesome people take the time to make the gif's....so what's an extra few seconds of typing to include the movie/tv/show title? Just about every page has at least 3-4 posts asking about the source of the gif.

 

I don't because I don't want to. Not sure why other people don't.


Also, Instead of asking and waiting for an answer (which sometimes takes hours) people could probably find out the source of the 99% of the gifs using google & imdb. They could also search the phun celeb vid section.

 

i already said this weeks back... and was more or less told to go bury my head in the sand; or ignored.... but spiderswims at least has said why he doesn't.... and in one way i agree with him that people are lazy to not look b4 asking.... but i still think it would save idiots constantly asking..... just my two penneth.

I see your point...we live in age where so much information is at our fingertips yet we would rather ask someone else for the info.

It's just tough with a lot of actresses because it could either be an older clip (and you're having to figure out what movie from the 30+ on imdb) or just a simple clip from some type of random video (daytime/nightime talk show, entertainment show, awards show, behind the scenes from a movie, video from a magazine shoot, etc...etc...) At that point it becomes a bit ridiculous unless you're willing to spend an hour+ searching every single appearance/promotion that actress was involved in....some actresses will do 20+ appearances for a single movie. That's a lot of leg work to figure out the where a 5 second clip came from.

Just figured it would be easier for people to include that info you do have it.

 

Well excuse me for being an idiot but sources aren't always apparent and I didn't find anything in a search for the last Brie ones either in imdb or a youtube clip search because it's not like there's a clip for every scene of every movie and tv show on the net.


And for the record I've sourced every gif I've ever posted because I don't conclude that people are idiots for not always finding the source.
