    Have you tried 90 minute mud and mixing it a bit on the hot side? Sets quicker and will stick to anything. ;)

    I rely too much on this site. This is my chill zone. Lately, it has been anything but...

    No....have a gallon of spackle that I drop more than I can get to stick to the ceiling....I may just use caulk as I am very good with that......we shall see. I am really dissapointed how uneven the sheets of plywood were installed...the guy really tried, but apparently the bottom of the trusses were either warped or poorly installed...he shimmed several locations with 2x4 trying to get them even...:dunno:

    I can relate....sometimes I think I am just too old for this site.....

    OK, keeping in mind it's overhead, have you tried floor leveler? you can thin in way out, put it on in multiple layers, and yes some of it is sandable.

    I did a sample area this afternoon with the spackle...will see how it sands tomorrow.....leaning on just using caulk at this time, but we shall see.
