Got Opinions, Why can't Katy Perry win a Grammy!

Love the last half of this ... she is so hick - and makes Katy look total class

 

The Beatles career lasted about 6 years, not counting the formative years prior to their fame. As has been pointed out, they started with catchy pop tunes, which earned them a worldwide following. Then in a few short years, they evolved into something else entirely, revolutionizing popular music, expanding its scope, and introducing topical and musical themes that inspired several generations of musicians since. They quite literally changed the world.

Katy Perry's career since her rise to fame is already longer than The Beatles'. Katy started with catchy pop tunes, which built her a worldwide following. Then over the next 7 years she . . . Um, well she stuck with making catchy pop tunes, following the same formula. As long as she is content to stick with bouncy titties and bouncy ditties, don't expect much in the way of awards.

Although record companies like anybody that can sell records, the industry as a whole has much more respect for those who use their fame to do more than sell dance tunes. They expect promising newcomers to mature and evolve, and hopefully to take popular music in new and exciting directions. That is what consistently wins awards.

If you want a picture of Katy Perry's future, the Grammy show was kind enough to provide it for you—Madonna's performance. Just like Perry, she was a promising young artist who played it safe and never took it to the next level.

This year's nominations included plenty of catchy pop tunes that did not win awards. But artists like Meghan Trainor and Pharrell Williams now have worldwide platforms. Pop builds your platform, what matters is what you do with it.

As Steve Jobs said to Pepsi executive John Sculley to lure him to Apple, "“Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?”

 

I understand that argument. yeah, they point down but that doesn't necessarily mean they are because her breasts are really saggy. I've seen REALLY saggy breasts where the nipples aren't pointing down. Anyway, I'll stop arguing that point now.

However, comments about her "class" or lack of it, including the initial comment from another mentioning a trailer park aren't relevant to her "sagginess".
