I mean if they will give one to Taylor Swift then WTF!!!!!! She should get one!!!! I'm not a fan (except for those Nice ass Knockers :p) but I liked the Halftime show. I thought she did a great job. It was the first time in a long time that the whole crowd was into it.

she will not win because she has a condition where her skin is magnetic and it is the opposite polarity to the metal of the grammy, so she can not touch it. :(

Katy is a mixed bag: powerful voice (I hear a lot of potential),a banging body (she shows up, you can't help but look). But she keeps swinging at the low hanging fruit. Maybe she's afraid the tweenies will forget her if she stops the traveling Vegas roadshow/Circus, but they're gonna out grow her anyway. Maybe the Grammy voters are telling her to put in work that's worthy of her gift - she really has a hell of a voice. She's got more money than most so it's safe to settle down and create some better music, but she seems afraid, or her ego won't let her retreat from the spotlight long enough to make the effort. Either way I think the academy is sending her a message - enough of the bubble gum tween pop shit, put in some serious work.

check the thread originator..... yup.. you guessed correctly...!! like has been suggested, jk is likely only a kid and not quite grasped a real live pair of norks as yet..?? so threads from him will always be less than challenging, or inane...??

for my money i just think it was year where a couple of artists and their songs were head and shoulders above the rest. one super bowl performance dont win a grammy.

she's an average singer at best...
I don't get all the infatuation with her... she's kinda chunky, cellulite ass and average voice in a terrible music genre

The only award that any artist of her stature should be interested in is the size of the deposit into her bank account. Though I find that all the statements about her sucking or being great is funny, the bottom line is, she could care less what the Grammy's has become, a marketing tool to sell more and make more money, that statue they give you is not worth 10 cents to most of them in the long run, however the exposure and $$$ windfall does.

Personally, I take her for face value, I find her music no different then the rest, I like SOUND, I dont listen to lyrics and most of all, if it sounds good, then I like it. Plus a hot and sexy video helps the visual end! :p

Now back to your scheduled programming.

In fairness to Russell Brand, he is better than Riff Raff

As for her music, I am definitely not a fan, but I don't think her music is intended for males in their thirties. Something tells me the age of the OP is more in her targeted demographic. Whenever I have seen her perform, I see a lot of external theatrics but very little musical substance. Reminds me of an 80's action movie. Bad acting, bad writing, kill a bunch of people, throw in a bunch of explosions and call it a day. She is like the Dolph Lundgren of musicians.

I think you mean 48 year olds with the mental fortitude of a twelve year old demographic.

    The REAL real question is...

Why the fuck do we care if she wins biggest fruitloop of the year? This is phun, we are here for your naughty bits.

@Lirva, when your moronically untalented generation produces a singer 1/10th as good as Christine Mcvie, you can whine about us dredging up the past.

A lot of the early Beatles were radio friendly pop...but that was only a small percentage of their music.

And if it wasn't for that "yeah yeah" song, we may never have experienced Black Sabbath.
