    Who said he was that good? I don't think anyone implied he was a GOAT or anything and more than that he's a childish asshole. I really couldn't care less what the press thinks and the more "serious" a film critic is the less I care. They liked Dogtooth and it was just a big a WTF as any Trier movie.

    Just an opinion. Valid like yours and like all of them, despite what their fancy press badges say.

    No, the serious critic's opinion means much more than mine or other people's because they're way more educated and possess much more knowledge in that specific area than I do. Exactly the same reason why I care more about my doctor's diagnosis than I do my sister's. The serious critic isn't trying to say if you're going to like the movie or not, he's trying to evaluate the merit of a certain work of art.
