You can see a few of them in a 4chan link by Googling Abigail Breslin fappening. There are also pussy shots that won't show up in that search though.

This isn't even in the same league. She still have her pictures. She's one of the most known woman on this planet and she took and sent nude pics of herself willingly over the web in spite of all the warnings about how your stuff isn't safe online. Your digital bits doesn't really belong to you once it's put online. Read terms and conditions for the services you use. Most people don't. I feel more sorry for those who's credit were hacked from companies like Target and such.

If someone broke into her house and stole those pictures, then your point makes sense.

Edit to add: I'm not saying anyone deserves to be hack, but it goes to show that putting your most valuable/private stuff in the hands of someone else/bf/company/service whatever, leaves you venerable.

I'm not 'victim blaming' her or the other women. But it is a KNOWN fact that what you upload, especially if you are a famous person, you are taking a risk of your stuff being leaked. People have always taken risky photos of themselves or loved ones. Now with the internet and the uploading of everything. it is sooo much easier for stuff to leak out. Me, personally, I miss the days before where everything you do had to be online. You take your computer into a shop to be fixed, your taking a risk that your files are going to be looked at. Especially if your a woman. This is a fact of the world we live in. This forum that your registered on is full of photos of women taken without their permission. Your a part of it.

My problem with Jennifer is her stating that those who looked at her photos are committing a crime. Blame Apple's icloud and the hackers, not us. You don't want something leaked, don't upload it anywhere. Plain and simple.

Well, there is intellectual property. And...

Claiming someone cannot own a digital photo is akin to claiming they can't own a digital music file. It's patently untrue. The difference here is that music files are protected by copyright law (as are images and videos under DMCA), but that people don't generally bother to copyright their selfies. They could though, but likely wouldn't because then there would be a public record of the file. Catch 22.

It's the cloud's fault. Nobody elses. Whoever the guys were who got these pics they should get offered massive job contracts (which they should tell the government to fuck off you grabby bastard((but don't assassinate me like Iranian scientists please)) and not vilified. They've exposed the cloud. The cloud can't keep celebrity private pictures safe. Do you trust the cloud with anything of yours? Nazi america will probably jail these guys and employ them at the same time. Or they'll just copy their WW2 scumduggery with Wernher Von Braun.

Stop blaming celebs. They get hacked even with better protection than us commoners. Blame whoever enabled this. Or thank them. Nobody got harmed or hurt. Jennifer lawrence is still on a small platform of actresses who have a Tom Hanks level of charisma. Chloe Moretz is on this same platform and will win an oscar sooner or later. Lawrence will win another oscar at least. She can play the victim but hopefully she has more sense. Laugh it off. The pics are actually very forgetable. It's not the 90s. Not sure people get off on pics these days. A pic of any celeb these days are a damp squib without a sex tape. In other words not too big a deal.

    Awesome!

Oh, dear. That didn't last. This? Dood, I hate to tell you, but this is victim-blaming. It's the Internet version of "She shouldn't have been in a bar in a short skirt," or "He shouldn't have been running through a white neighborhood."

Look, we're on the Internet, and we know how to get all kinds of things we want to get for free. Here on this site we're downloading for free all sorts of content we're actually supposed to pay for. When a new movie comes out, we can search Bittorrent and find it almost immediately. A song you have a yen to hear? Sure you can buy it from Amazon or iTunes, but we all know you can get it for free by googling the name of the song and "+MP3." Even new books are out there in ebook form shared on vBulletin sites that look just like this one, but with fewer visible tits.

And we think that, because we can easily get this stuff for free, there's nothing "really" wrong with doing it. We're entitled to do it.

Well, we're not entitled to steal online data any more than we're entitled to rape girls in short skirts in bars or shoot black kids running through our neighborhoods. (Unless you're in Florida, apparently, but that's a rant for a different website.) And we're not "entitled" to be here looking at Jennifer Lawrence's tits and Abigail Clancy's masturbation videos. There are people who are in the wrong here, and not a one of them is a woman whose pictures and videos have ended up here in Celebrity Extra.

The guys who hacked into their accounts are in the wrong. It's no more okay to hack into an account because the security is poor than it is to sneak into a house because it isn't locked. The guys who spread the pictures and videos around are in the wrong.

And we're in the wrong. You are. I am. We didn't start the fire, but we're making smores over it.

And when you say "Well, it's her fault for using poor security," what you're doing really is blaming the victim. You're really, honestly, and totally no different than the guy who says, "Well, she shouldn't have gone into that bar in a short skirt." The fault is not with the girl in the skirt. The fault is with the guy who raped her. Period.

Um, can we please get back on subject before the mods shut this thread down? It's starting to get overtaken with political talk and that's not what we're all her for.

This almost too hilarious to not laugh at. Almost. I come from a time when everybody must accept their part of the blame. You apparently do not, but you are not alone judging by the comments in this thread. There are three parts of the blame here. The people who hacked get their share, iCloud gets theirs, and yep, the people who got hacked get theirs too. The latter's blame is not that they took nude pics. It isn't that they uploaded them. It is not learning from other people's misfortunes and/or mistakes. Failure to use the brain God gave you does not free you from your share of the blame. Nothing you can say can take this fact and make it untrue.

Yeah, as soon as it hit the point where its moral to take anything that you possibly can (makes you wonder what "moral" means in their world) it was pretty well gone. I propose that we just stop having these threads entirely as it is obvious that they all turn into this sort of junk.

J-Law's reaction to the presence of cameras lately has actually caused me to rethink this whole thing. Sadly, the poor thing appears to have been genuinely damaged by the experience. Whether because of ignorance ("I thought I/you deleted everything!"), a false sense of security, or otherwise, it's obvious to all but a few die-hard voyeurs that this has had a serious effect on her, as it probably has on others..

That means that rightly or wrongly, people have been injured by this event. And while I enjoy the chance to see something "forbidden" as much as the next, when it causes real damage to the person in question, I think it's time to reconsider this little predilection of mine.

Kaley and a few others basically seemed to laugh it off, at least in public, and for them, it's probably chalked up to "lesson learned". Ms Cuoco is back on her horse (literally), and several others (Duff, Benson, Trachtenburg among them) have appeared in public, but there are some who, like JLaw, have had a serious issue with the theft.

And theft is what it is. Whoever that hacker was, these are stolen photos. They're not paparazzi shots of Kate and Wills taken from over a mile away, they're not shots of some starlet accidentally slipping out of her top on the runway, visiting a nude beach in France, etc, etc, etc. They were, pure and simple, stolen. So we have all received, in a sense, stolen merchandise. There's an ick factor attached to these pics, whether we accept it or not.

My home has been robbed -twice. Both times, there was a very real feeling that victims describe as "violation". Someone had been where no one was supposed to be. And that's about what it feels like. A violation. In that sense, I have a very small feeling of kinship for some of these ladies, who are quite rightly feeling the same way. And anyone who has been robbed should feel a least a little the same way.

But give me a goodly pap upskirt or nipslip shot of the same girl, out in public, and I am there! Trust me.

    PS- in before the lock....
