    Eric Braeden said that story was bullshit and the reason he was fired is because he didn't get along well with other cast members, specifically himself. Then again, from what I've heard, if everyone on that show who didn't get along with Eric Braeden was fired, there wouldn't be much of a cast left.

    Easier to get rid of the guy that nobody likes then to replace everyone on the cast other then Eric. Makes sense to dump him.
