Laundry is done early.

 

Looks like we will end up with a third of an inch of total rain today....and the temp and dew point both are 76F.

 

Hmmm...just had a dog lick induced glasses cleaning...

 

Domenic is a much happier dog now that the thunder has stopped.

 

We're still getting random thunder here.

 

The massive rain (in size) here is well into fading out now....just a little bit of very light rain now. Dog walking should go on at the usual schedule...in about 45 minutes.

 

We now have a storm warning! The little storm got big!

 

That happens here a lot.

 

Storm is moving south/southwest. Weird.

 

I just called my brother. No water for the foreseeable future for them. Wow.

 

That sounds rough! I bet some heads are going to roll over this.

 

He doesn't know what's going to happen next. A strong algae concentration near the supply feed is the cause.

 

Where do they get their water....I am assuming it is a surface supply of some kind.

 

Lake Erie. There are supply deliveries to Northern Ohio and the very south of Michigan, at the Ohio border.

 

If you Google "the Toledo Blade," you can probably see a diagram of the supply lines.

 

I would have thought that water would have been too cool to support a wide spread algae bloom...

 

The water temp is above 70! (I asked.)
