    I still have one as well, but haven't attempted to use it. I just remember back when my stepfather was sick and his broke, he had to take the one in the living room so he could watch his porn. He had no interest in upgrading to DVDs. Now when I look at it, it's tainted lol. :oops::puke::lol:

    Thats how I was with upgrading from cassettes to CD. I had a few (3 or 4) and a discman when they first came out but stuck with a cassette player in my car for a while. I had so many cassettes and didnt look forward to starting from scratch with CD. You couldnt burn CDs yet if I remember correctly. I have not taken to switching from CD to digital well either.

    Im the opposite when it comes to Video formats. Always an early adopter. Even on failed ones (HD DVD).

    Lmao. That did definitely suck having to get things over again. I remember when you first could burn CD's, they wouldn't play anywhere besides your computer until they came out with those discs. Of course I bought like 100 of the first ones first. :eyeroll:

    I never planned on going to digital, but I had a flood in my basement that ruined so many of my CDs. At least now if you break your media player, you can reload everything you had. That part trumps the predecessors. :)

    For some reason I didn't care about getting an HD TV, but now that I have it, I can't go back and want to kick myself for arguing.

    One thing that I like about digital is that you can get stuff that they don't (physically) sell here in the States.

    I've had an HDTV for a long time. But until very recently, I had an SD DVR. Didn't even have a Blu-Ray player until last year.

    I got tired of skipping CDs a long time ago. No matter how careful I am with a damn CD I am somehow it gets scratches at random. Always on one of my favorite songs too. I suppose ill jump on board at some point. The best part is that I can just rip CDs to my computer rather than re purchasing.

    I feel you on the tv situation. Im so spoiled with my HD that I pretty much refuse to watch anything not HD. Movies are bluray only and I have a shit ton of channels on my cable that go completely unwatched.

    I had to watch one during a school trip to the Arizona Science Center. They are very large, about the size of a baseball.

    Wait, you actually enjoyed watching them? :shock: A lot of stuff from the Faces of Death series is fake though.

    Just a typical rainstorm. That one just happens to be isolated, which is why you can see the cloud movement like that. It does look cool though.

    Before I got Verizon Fios and after my cable company withdrew the Gameshow Network and then Court TV, I only watched Channel 5 (Basic TV Fox). I literally did not change the channel. Well and often back then I couldn't find the remote either. :eek:ops

    That was a pathetic year. If nothing good was on, I just went to bed. I don't really know what my point of that was. :lol:


    OMG, I'm glad I only went to Secretary School after High School then. :lol:

    Although I have seen people eat the raw balls on Fear Factor. :vomit:

    I did like those videos, but I was probably 9 or so and wasn't technically allowed to watch them which is what made it "good". Now-a-days, I'd probably skip it.
