Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     She is doing OK.....sometimes limps a little when she first gets up, but does not seem to be a problem to her as she is doing pretty much what she wants to do, including running after squirrels. The meds have a potential impact on liver and kidneys, so I will administer it rather judiciously. That being said, I would rather have her happy for another year than miserable for another 5 years.

    Thanks....I have no idea what the future holds...of course I hope for the best, but I know that arthritis is most often a progressive condition. It may be that she tolerates the meds well for several years and she can be happy dog for some time to come. :)
