    They've been showing ass on FX for a long time now. They show sex scenes also.

    If I remember correctly, she had a couple decent sex scenes in season 1 (legs - no nudity), but yes, that ass looks a bit too young and perfect to be Diane's rear. Not showing her face in conjunction with the nudity is generally a dead giveaway. She's nearly 40, therefore a no-nudity clause was likely the first thing she requested when she moved to television. Particularly as it's not on a major broadcast network and only a basic cable show in The States.

    Nudity and light sex are allowed now. I don't think any specific rules exist yet for programs rated (M)ature. A nipple still hasn't made an appearance. Although butts and more vigorous sex scenes have slowly been creeping into late night basic cable shows over the last few years. How else can they compete with pay cable?

    I think graphic violence over anything else has really changed over the past decade in regards to basic cable television. No nipples allowed, but you can smash a head in and rip a body apart. :p
