Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    It will be interesting to see if the system pushes sufficient south for us to get some pellets tomorrow night or Wednesday morning. I have not check the multi-day forecast to see if they have made any changes since last night.

    I don't care for the pellets lingo. It's basically big sleet. The local meteorologist explained it and it doesn't matter to me how it's formed, i know what I see hitting the windshield.

    I've set up one of my trail cameras on my front steps this morning. The shutter speed is set for 1 minute. As the flakes fly, I should be able to get a time lapse pictorial of the snow. If it does as expected, I'll share.

    Looks like significant rain is headed or way though....and I checked and they are still saying we could get ice pellets tomorrow night. I want to know what is the difference between ice pellets and sleet. :dunno:

    Ice pellets are formed above 5K feet and sleet is formed under 5K.
