  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    That's pretty generous then. You could probably wipe it and sell it on ebay or something for a couple hundred bucks. SSDs with such high capacity are still kind of expensive.

    If this is the right one, then you could probably max your RAM pretty cheap. It should be very easy to add RAM because there's a slot at the bottom for easy access. Adding a new HD might be harder though given the design. I think you have to take the screen apart (newer ones you do at least) and then you might need a certain size HD to fit in the case right. You probably could put an SSD in it, but I'd probably take it somewhere if you do.

    I think we're talking about two different things then. Mine is a Toshiba external HDD, cost me about $60.

    I wish HP still made HD's. I got a 1TB external HD (HP SimpleSave) for only $60. It's made to back-up files, but I just moved the program files it came with to another HD. I got a 4TB external HD from Western Digital last year for $200.

    It's on its second hard drive. The first one crapped out 2 years ago. It's a MATSHITADVD-R UJ-846 Revision FB2U ATAPI Internal drive.
