Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    When I was a kid the UP was our destination of choice for skiing and snowmobiling. They always got a shitload of snow compared to everywhere else around the Great Lakes.

    I used to dread shoveling snow like that described above. It may as well have been concrete.

    I remember being able to walk across the top of the snow as kid when we'd get freezing rain after snow, or if it would melt a bit on top and then freeze again overnight. You could almost skate across it for a while and then your weight would eventually crunch the top layer of ice and your foot would sink through the whole way.
