  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Are there details of this problem somewhere? I've heard people complain about it randomly, but I haven't seen it detailed in a post anywhere yet. Happy to look into it.

    Yeah I think I probably read something in there, but I couldn't get a sense for when exactly it happens ... what the conditions were.

    It should happen when you've typed something into the quick reply or another form, but try to leave the page instead without submitting what you've typed. Does it happen other times?

    GB, at its worst it happened on every try. The software seems to think you're leaving the page all the time. At present, its random as far as I can tell, and much less frequent.

    Cool, thanks. I just searched for "leave" in that Performance thread and there are a ton of complaints about it, but nobody ever mentioned when it happens. And, I assume it happens in a variety of browsers?

    Is it always when you've typed in the quick reply and try to post it? Or does it ever happen when you didn't type anything (and nothing is erroneously still saved in the quick reply from a previous post ... I've seen that one) and are just trying to go to a different page?

    When phun is slow and you attempt to quick reply it attempts to post to the forum and I assume that it is timing out. Then it attempts to refresh the page since the connection to the server has been reset. That is when it asks are you sure yiu want to leave the page. At least thats what I assume is happening.
