  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    My computer and OS are old, Cold, plus I don't have much RAM. I can't put new stuff on it because of incompatibility with the old OS. Sometimes my browsers lock because of RAM issues and script issues the a newer browser could handle. So, it's really the browsers that are causing me to reboot.

    Does your OS allow for adding extra RAM through the use of a USB drive? Windows has that option and I pick up an extra 4Gb of RAM that way.

    I can't afford RAM, I'm afraid. I don't think that's an iMac option on my comp, but I'm not sure.
