  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    This morning, the news said the winter weather front coming will bring the lowest temps seen in the past ten years. The front should pass over here in the latter part of Sunday bring hard freezes for Monday and Tuesday mornings....:?

    Yeah, if I was going with alternative apps, I'd probably go with Pixelmator and Sketch (both for OS X).

    Pixelmator is like Photoshop but much more lightweight and only like $15-30. Not as many features as PS, but it does everything I need it to (mostly photo editing). And, Sketch is kind of like Illustrator or Fireworks and really nice for making icons, logos, etc.

    But, I need to have PS and AI around to open files people send me.

    I've used photoshop since 1997 or something like that. been using a few other programs too over the years mostly for making animated gifs and 3d.

    I am not doing nearly as much graphic work as I have in years past. If my lack of work in this area continues, I will probably stop getting every other upgrade released by Corel Draw.
