  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I used to years ago. But, the workflow in PS is better in just about every way.

    I don't use either much though. I mostly use Illustrator for making simple svgs, icons and stuff. But, still after wrangling with it all morning on this computer (that don't usually use), it won't even save a file. Tried all the usual suspects like deleting pref files, reinstalling ,etc. I've resigned to just making a couple quick placeholders in Inkscape until I get home in a few days, which may be a decent program, but it's so different that it's tough to work with.

    Yeah, I've found PS to be much more stable than Illustrator. But, I need to work with vectors rather than raster.

    I have always used Corel Draw Suite......has good raster and vector applications. I got it for less than $100 when the package was about $750 as an older version on CD was included with a video card I purchased when assembling a PC.....back in about 1996.
