Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Apparently, she got some sort of an insect bite or sting right on/in her female private part that itched her causing her to lick it frequently. This led to it getting a bacterial infection, so she is on antibiotics for two weeks.

    Sorry to hear. Deuce is very sensitive to insect bites, regardless of where he gets bit. He's got an appt. on Friday for another allergy shot. Hope she gets some relief and rebounds quickly.

    Thanks. I took her to the vet on Friday and started the meds that evening.....she is already showing improvement by not licking it as much as she was. The most significant inconvenience it having to feed her twice a day instead of once as the meds are to be administered twice a day and I have to mix the meds in with food for her to take it easily. But, no big deal. :D

    Luckily, with Deuce we take him in and he gets just a shot. The Comfortis he takes with no problem. I'll pretend like I'm eating it and he practically will swallow it whole. Amazing what we are willing to do for our hounds. :p

    yeah I agree Thore. might really hurt with her eye cold to fly on a plane. plus she can heal up.

    so it'll be a nice break for us too. we could use one week apart to rest up alone.
