    The worst I have been hurt/injured with motorcycles, twice, was when they were in my garage. :lol: That is when I crushed the fingers in Dec. of 1975 and fucked up my shoulder almost a month ago.

    I had spent about 15 hours removing the engine, checking the top end, reinstalling it, etc. and a full maintenance including changing the drive sprockets and chain. I was finishing up, had the bike on the center stand, checked and adjusted the timing....set the idle speed, and was running the bike in gear to after lubing the chain. The engine was running on idle. As I was picking up my tools and stuff, the rear sprocket caught my sleeve cuff and pulled my hand into the chain and sprocket. The engine stalled with my hand caught between the rear sprocket and chain. I was alone and had to extricate myself with no help....took me over twenty minutes to do so. Fingers were crooked and pointing in all different directions.

    It really was painful. I could not get myself out of that mess today. I could not get the damn thing into neutral which is normal for a motorcycle with out being able to rock the bike. I ended up having to balance on my tail bone and use both my feet to hold in the clutch lever, the reach across my body with my left arm/hand to catch the rear tire tread with my finger tips and half inch by half inch turn the back wheel backwards until my hand was clear. Luckily, the engine stalled with my hand at the very back of the sprocket with my palm facing backwards. It was really hard turning the wheel as my fingers were binding up things.
