The Celebrities You Ever Met In Person

Met Steven Seagal (and his entourage) at a hotel in Bangkok. He was surprisingly friendly and cool. Said I looked like the lead guitarist from Little Feat.

Met John Pinette (comedian) at casino in Vegas several years ago. Great guy, very friendly, he talked to me and my friends for quite a while. Said he is good friends with Carrot Top, who he says is actually a really good guy (despite his bizarre appearance).

I'd love to meet John Pinette. Show me the Buffet is one of my favorite comedy albums. Until recently I didn't realize he was the fat guy in the last episode of Seinfeld.

 

Stood next to Alyssa Milano at a concert and said hi, got the ticket signed etc. Cute, hot and very short.
Met and talked to Trish Stratus for a while, very friendly and ohsoHot.

There's more but they're either not that interesting or I can't remember right now.

 

They pick a lot of short girls for tv. Is it cos they can do any angled shots of them? Dunno.

 

He's lost quite a bit of weight since that episode of Seinfeld. Still a heavy guy but looks much healthier now. And I'm with you, I think he is absolutely hilarious. I hear some of his bits on Sirius/XM comedy channels now and then, and he cracks me up.

 

The only female celebrity I've ever met is Trish Stratus.

As for men, it's basically been a bunch of wrestlers.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner had an autograph signing about five minutes away from my house a few months ago and I didn't find out about it until later that day after they had already left. I was so sad (and still am).

 

I loved Bozo, but that was long before I developed a suspicion of clowns. They just ain't right.

Living in Vegas for nearly 20 years I saw a lot of celebrities around town and the vast majority of them, male and female alike, were not exactly statuesque. I'm only 5' 9" myself, but am still taller than most of the celebs I've met/seen. I guess more short people like to act.

 

Cooky was a perv. Bozo was cool. :2cent:

Every celeb I ever met was at Dragon*Con. So lots of people probably had about as much interaction with most of them. I talked with Danielle Harris about having her birthday on the Halloween 5 set. I shook hands with Morena Baccarin, Kevin Sorbo, Jordan Hinson from Eureka, and Luke Perry. I also met and chatted with Summer Glau and Charles Band, director of the Puppetmaster movies and founder of Full Moon Pictures. I got to meet illustrator Todd Lockwood and help him pack his stuff to go back home after the dealers room closed on Monday. And I always stop by and talk for a little bit with the Cruxshadows.

Every single one of these people, every celebrity I have ever met in fact, has been one of the nicest most awesome people in the whole world. I have to say one of the nicest guys I have ever met was Lou Ferrigno. Awesome dude.

 

I just Thanked a post from a guy I've never seen post before and never conversed with but he once met and briefly chatted with a woman at a convention where said female talks to hundreds of people every day and will probably never recall meeting him if you held a gun to her head.

That's the closest I'm ever going to get to Summer Glau.

 

I played some board games with Kelly Clarkson at a party. She was awesome.

 

Met Alison Brie at one of her concerts, Met Joanna Angel when my friend was interviewing her for a website he worked at, Have smoked a doobie with David Grisman and am friends with a large amount of famous Bluegrass musicians. I have also known Kristin Kreuk for a few years now, but I don't consider her a celebrity

Craig Charles (seems ok, ever so slight hint of being full of himself, but only subtle)
loads of Hollyoaks girls (used to work near where it's filmed, mostly unbearable people but sexy enough to deserve a mention)
Stephen Frost (80s comedy actor, blackadder and others. met him in a bar, very nice guy)

musicians/bands:
The Gaslight Anthem (all nice guys, guitarist and drummer were the most talkative)
Dave Hause
Ian Broudie (former Lightning Seeds, 3 Lions, now producer)

footballers:
Steve McManaman (several times when i was a kid)
Phil Thompson (very nice and genuine guy, hates Graeme Souness)
Robbie Fowler (very briefly in a pub where i worked, shook his hand)

haven't met any of the current squad, or anyone that recent really. saw Igor Biscan in town the day we bought him, doesn't really count though always wanted to meet Big Sami before he left but never did. gutted.

edit: actually i saw Oussama Assaidi last year, the week we bought him, i was in a moroccan restaurant with my then-girlfriend and he came in. was with a lot of elderly moroccan gents though so didn't disturb him.

 

Just caught up with this thread. In what kind of relationship are you with her? Like a real friend or business-related?

 

She was his cleaner.
