I see absolutely nothing wrong with clothed and non-provocative images of anyone, any age. though comments from cavemen about what they'd like to do with them (not hug them or play ball) isn't acceptable. one way to get rid of those comments are to ban the images, as suggested here that is an easy fix but I think it's not the right one as it's not the pictures by them selves that are the problem, but the thoughts & comments from others. then again, I rarely if at all visit the celeb forum unless there are some nudes of sexy adult actresses/models/singers or images of someone I wanna know more about. so therefor I might be wrong in my thought about this.

You are right Cold. It is completely tasteless, senseless and unreasonable regardless of age. It really brings me to question these people and their opinions of women. The fact that any of these anonymous people could have inclinations befitting their opinions of women. However, I feel a particular affinity towards keeping children protected and hopefully sheltered in some way from such. Perhaps i am speaking as a parent of 2 girls. I have suggested that as being some of the driving force behind my stance.

Interesting philosophical discussion. What is the true wrong? posting a picture of an underage person or making comments upon what one would do to said person. Of course it comes down to a matter of context. If I was to post innocent (assumed) picture of my 15 year old niece ready for prom and some one commented on the desire to see her tits and pump her ass they of course would be the one indulging in the perceived morally corrupt behavior. On the other hand if I started a thread of "hot prom self shots" of pics I had one way or another gathered over the internet with the express intent of providing masturbation materials to others, I would of course be the one at fault. But here is the crux of the matter. This site, forum whatever, is not innocent is full of adults and has a huge audience of persons coming here looking for spank material. Thus it can be assumed by both provider of any material to said site and those come here that any pics or vids of underage "hotties" might be used in such a manner. This is not the place to have wholesome online discussions of underage whomevers. This is an explicitly adult site and should be treated as such.

 

I have said all that in some of the other threads regarding this subject streak. When the owner of the site enjoys underage girls and financial matters are involved, everything else becomes insignificant.

 

Right you are! And we have rules that govern what kind of imagery can be posted (we don't care how people utilize it in private), and other rules that govern what kind of commentary can be posted. Occasionally the two are at cross purposes, but it's not our rules that cause the conflict. Any rational individual can see that's true. Unfortunately, humanity is not made up solely of rational individuals. And for whatever reason, they seem to spring up in greater numbers where celebrities are involved.

As people often and sometimes vehemently point out, this is a porn forum (actually, it's an adult forum which features a generous selection of porn). That being the case, if you want to get your rocks off - and feel a special need to tell everyone about it - go visit the fuckin' porn sections where lascivious commentary is more appropriate. That would probably warrant a ban, because it appears the mods have discretion when it comes to perverse comments being a bannable offense, and since the hypothetical girl is under 18, you would probably get hit with the stick.

Personally, I say make it 18 and let them say whatever they want, but I won't be losing any sleep over it either way.

 

In reading that paragraph again it seems that you are referring to content as anything under 16. Just the way it reads to me. If I were to get called on this I would definitely use the wording to my advantage.

 

Yes as per scribes post above yours, it would seem that discretion does indeed come into play. While I appreciate the fact that a mod can react as a result of a judgement call, it gives the appearance of not being clearly defined. Personally, unclear guidelines irk the shit out of me and adversely leave plenty of room for error to accompany the ability to make said judgement call. Why undermine yourselves?
