    Page 3 models do more than just appear in the magazines like Nuts, Zoo, and Page 3. Some of them are quite like Miranda Kerr, some do promotional work on the side. A few are signed up modeling agencies too. More similar than different.

    Well, technically speaking you are spot on. But the unwritten rule I'd say is, the actual fame comes into play, how far headlines about them reached across sites and magazines. So I think it is safe to say nobody is going to miss anyone of those "page 3" or "Nuts" models except those who are actively looking for them and those who have some agenda to continuously post raw U/HQ pics of them.

    Granted, there are cases, say Olivia Munn, who gained some extra fame for having nudes leaked, in direct connection to another name, Chris Pine. Although she did work before she wasn't really famous, she was more like internet-famous if I'm not mistaken but she ultimately made it (that stripper movie and Newsroom show). It has some similar aspect to the Kardashians. But that is ok, I guess. The media industry in the US has the biggest appeal worldwide, at least in this forum. I guess there are a couple of forums for Indian stars in Bollywood as well? They're probably talking in a similar fashion about non-Indian celebs.

    I can see where you're coming from Ram, but that's just one point of view! Yours! :)

    Another point of view (ours :D) is that the traditional celebrity photos are primarily showbiz-event-driven publicity photos or paparazzi-captured candid pics, whereas the social media stuff represents a pretty different genre, the chatter-sphere! And we felt that this was better represented in the new Celebrity Extra forum. The decision was not based on like/dislike but on our view of "best fit"!

    Pics in the Celebrity Photos forum are its raison d'etre, whereas those in the Celebrity Extra forum will be expected to be mainly in support of, or to provoke comment, discussion, humour, etc..

    However, we'll keep a close watch on how things progress.

    i completely agree with ram....i have to post a picture as "adds" in my thread which is from instagram....now i have to open a completely new thread in a different section for that...doesn't make any sense

    Why not have a single thread for Instagrams in the CX? Or a single thread there for Instagram/FB/Twitter?

    You won't be cluttering up the forum with individual threads. If you so badly wan't to see an Instagram etc you can just go there.
    Just an idea. We can go exactly to where we want to see whatever we want. I rarely see a HQ Instagram or Twitpic etc.

    (It works for serarate threads in the CP Forum since it is all pure pics there now.)
    Might be nice to have a separate thread for LQ pics in the CP Forum too, so we get pure good high quality there.

    It's not hard people ... Shit quality Instagram Facebook tmblr pics in the new extra forum and pro HQ pap PS no change! :)
    I do however think each so called celeb should have their own Instagram mega thread all in one place so people can just keep adding pictures when they turn up...

    The only issue I have with continuous Twitter/Instagram threads is sometimes, the pictures are behind the scenes of a photoshoot or part of candid events. Also, a lot of random Twitter/Instagram are well worth they're own thread (i.e. my Jennette McCurdy curvy thread (http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=1021540)), so I definitely feel it's better to make separate threads for those pictures.

    I really don't see the issue with Twitter/Instagram remaining in the Celebrity Photos forum. I never felt like the forum was cluttered and I've always been able to find everything easily. I list whenever a thread is Twitter/Instagram to let people know beforehand, so they can decide if they want to check it out or skip over it.

    And Twitter/Instagram pictures aren't that bad. I don't understand the overwhelming hate on Instagram by some members. Yes, the pictures have been edited and it's LQ, but a lot of the pictures are actually pretty hot most of the time. I really feel Twitter/Instagram pictures are very underrated/underappreciated. However, for every person that dislikes Instagram, there's always someone who likes Instagram, too. A lot of my Instagram threads get a lot of thanks on a consistent basis, with the occasional "shitty Instagram" comment. Also, Twitter/Facebook are usually good MQ pictures, so I never understood the hate on them whatsoever.

    Like I said before, it makes no sense to split the forum into two. If you want to find celebrity photos - no matter what kind they are - you should be able to come to this forum and find them all at once, instead of having to go back and fourth through two forums. And the Extra forum will soon be "cluttered" with random discussion crap mixed in with new pictures, making it harder to find those new pictures. Just makes no sense to have new pictures not be in the Celebrity Photos forum. The Extra forum should just be used for random discussion and celebrity gossip/news.

    In your opinion! And we all have different tastes ..... I personally don't think she is anything special but that's just my opinion ... I would take 90% of the top UHquality pictures posted here over one poor quality Instagram picture any day.

    I think you have done a great thing. If anybody wants to see insta or twit pics they can come here and see them. I occasionally like to follow celeb gossip mainly who's screwing who, and celebs in "trouble" so hopefully that will be here too.

    That thread got 67 thanks, including yourself. I think it's safe to say Instagram/Twitter/Facebook pictures are well worth the posts and can be equally appreciated, if not more. And if they would just be moved back to the Celebrity Photos forum, people could have the best of both words in the same forum!

    Seems like it's been decided, why beat a dead horse? Anybody who wants to see then just come here, what's the big deal? It was bound to happen. There is a big diff from somebody tracking down HQ celeb pics and posting them, vs. going to a public insta or twit account and pulling a pic and posting it. I very seldom give thanks for twit/insta.

    I liked Maria Menounos reclining on the diving board. I would have liked it a hell of lot more if it had been HQ.

    Those intentionally crap quality instagram pics remind me of the pics we took with cheap Instamatic cameras back in the 1970s. I like the fact that photo technology has sprung ahead by leaps and bounds since that time and feel no sense of sentiment for LQ days of yore.
