    I'm not sure it's a good idea to allow reality to affect fantasy, or vice-versa. A lot of porn - not just Japanese - uses rape as a sub-theme. I audit 70% of the threads posted in Sexy Vids nearly every day and there have been no few of them that I could conceivably trash under the rule you noted above. While I'm aware of the incident in India you mentioned, I know nothing of the details because frankly I don't care. Rape disgusts me, I need not make distinctions. If the video you bring to our attention is a re-creation of that episode, well, it's just that, a re-creation. At another time, under different circumstances, it could have been posted under the same title without anyone giving it a second thought. I just don't think it's a good idea to start trashing porn vids because someone takes exception to what is depicted, even if it merely resembles something forbidden in Rule 10. There must be no doubt, otherwise we're just going to end up trashing a whole lot of posts.

    Not sure what anyone else uses as there's no official guidelines, but here's how I categorize everything, and it seems to work for me:


    :arrow: Pictures: Using the longest side of the image (L or W), if the picture is:

    Under 1000px ----> LQ
    Between 1000px and 2000px ----> MQ
    2000px + (up to ~5K px) ----> HQ
    Above 5000px -----> VHQ (or else just remains labeled as HQ)

    :arrow: Video: Pretty similar, but with some slight adjustments based on known standards for video categorization:

    SD Video (480p/i): ----> LQ
    720p Video (1280 x 720) ----> MQ
    1080p Video (1920 x 1080) ----> HQ

    Hopefully, those are 'common sense' numbers that translate well, since the 'Q' tag used here reflects size only, and with no relation to actual image quality.

    (That's why I'm glad folks like spider have recently started adding comments like 'blurry', etc. to thread titles when the image quality is known to suffer a bit, as it 1) gives people a better idea what they're 'getting', and 2) sets their resulting expectations properly) :2cent:
