As far as I'm concerned it's either legal to take picture of semi naked women in public or not. You can't say that it's okay to folloow around pop stars day and night and take any film or video you want of them and then claim special dispensation for a girl who is recently added to a precarious "royal" lineage.

While I agree with the idea that everyone should be treated the same, why is it acceptable to photograph women that you don't know constantly simply because you can be paid for it? Is it morally okay to stand outside a school and photograph sixteen year olds all day?

I know it;s a slippery slope but when certain people are so famous that their actual lives are demolished from any sense or normalcy because of scum photographers then action should be taken to allow these people maybe have some form of privacy.

Well, I'd say there's something wrong with most of us on this site, but that's besides the point. This is not a 16-year old schoolgirl; it's a 30-year old woman that should know better than to walk outside topless. I also seriously doubt celebs & royals have much sense of normalcy; while most celebs are just attention whores who crave most of the attention, Kate didn't have to marry the prince, she made that choice, and gets with it the attention (both wanted and not) as part of the well paying job.
