That's rather sad..... and sort of creepy.

 

Very few veggies I don't like.......not really wild about okra though, even though fried okra is a popular southern dish.

 

Fried okra is tasty. Don't have much use for it otherwise.... There are several legumes I'm indifferent about but for the most part I dig veggies.

 

What's the plan for today, Scribe?

 

I am not sure of the classification of olives, but that is one popular food that I have never been about to develop a palette for.....green or black, including that little red thingy in the middle. :?

 

Earlier I did the final prep work on the porch in anticipation of staining, which I may do tomorrow depending on the temp... Other than that I'm having an eye exam after lunch and then I'm going to take the Chillville Express to Chillaxinland.

 

Hope your eye is okay. Is this the eye that felt sprained the other day?

 

If black olives are on a pizza or in a salad I won't complain but otherwise I have little use for either variety (or the pimento within ). On the other hand I have plenty of uses for olive oil when cooking, especially Italian.

 

Oh no, it's not that. That issue cleared up with a good night's rest. This is more to make sure I'm wearing the correct reading glasses. I haven't had a professional eye exam in decades.

 

They have a lot of Okra here.....don't like that either.

 

I have learned to tolerate olives in salads and pizza also, but never use them when I prepare the food/dishes.....and I use olive oil a bit, but lately have switched to another oil that is much higher in Omega 3 fatty acids...I think it is canola.

 

Olive is a stone fruit.
