The main reason you'd want to set up a factory here....is so that you can get 15 year olds working 20 hours a day for less than 10$.....because that's how it's done here with local factories..... you don't get healthcare....you don't get insurance.....sometimes you don't even get a lunchbreak........and even if they are good and do as you say................the Government dosen't want international companies with their fancy hygiene laws and their fancy human rights laws.....there are tons of big local companies who will not only pay bribes but also not bug the Government for healthcare

 

That's certainly the case in the US - I don't know if politicians in India feel that much pressure, especially if their constitution gives them longer terms or easier ways to stay in office.

 

Oh my dear man......press doesn't matter when 50% of your voting population doesn't have a TV and can be bribed with a sandwhich.

Rajya means state[4] and Sabha means "assembly" in Sanskrit.[5] Membership is limited to 250 members 12 of whom are chosen by the President of India for their expertise in specific fields of art, literature, science, and social services. These members are known as nominated members. The remainder of the body is elected by the state and territorial legislatures. Terms of office are six years, with one third of the members retiring every two years.

Yes there are. I was reading an article the other day concerning Walmart's bad habit of bribing local politicians to get their development deals to move along in a more timely manner and it mentioned Walmart stores are in India and China. Hell, half the shit they sell is made in China.
