I am good but have a crying nephew to deal with

 

that can make for a stressish sort of eve.
that also makes me miss my son.
i remember sitting on the sofa, holding him.
wishing he would stop crying and go to sleep
but
also kinda being happy i got to sit there and hold him
he would wimper and fall off to sleep
i woud still sit there for sometimes an hour or so
holdig him. strange how life works out
now its been sense dec of 2010 when ive been a part of his life day in and out
when i get home i dont think ill be giong anyplace for a while

im watching the hockey game
nj and nyr are tied in the second.
great game.

I've been learning about how crazy the government corruption is in India.... but if they can get it together, India could be a really great democratic country. Well... that and if the influence of foreign interests could be lessened.

 

They'll never do it.....the ministers are fucking villagers.....they haven't even graduated basic school.

 

What they need to do is get rid of all the "culture" bullshit and act normal.

 

Normal to you is vastly different then what most of your countrymen would probably consider "normal", Jack.

But that said, it's interesting hearing the stories of some of the Indians I met today about how they want to learn and become American educated, then go back to India and rebuild. It should give you hope Jack.

They'll never do it......stuff like that has happened before.....somebody was telling me about a guy (an Indian) who wanted to reform the education system......he had already reformed stuff somewhere in the US and Canada....he came down ...Government told him to go ahead.....he spent a month working out a plan....then the Government said no....this is wrong that is wrong this is wrong.......to the extent that he got fed up and left.

 

What all did you hear about India anyway...I'm keen to know.

 

That's cuz he's trying to change a corrupt system.

What a lot of the Indians I spoke to want to do is to force change through capitalism - creating new global, successful businesses in India where the government HAS TO change, else they lose millions of dollars. It might not work, but it seems that's probably the best way to make influential changes to government - hell, even communism in China takes a backseat to the super capitalism that truly runs the Chinese government.

Seems like a way for them to make money...I don't see how it'll help the regular people.

 

Of course it's a way to make money... I did say CAPITALISM, right?

How it can help the people? Well, if the Indian fellows are serious about getting rid of poverty in India, you influence the government to add policies or make reforms for the health of low income residents, as THOSE residents will be working in my factories IF i plan to make my headquarters in India. If not, I'll move my factory to Pakistan or Thailand, you lose out on a huge amount of money you could make, as well as any public backlash - "India Government spurns fellow India entrepreneur from the US".

Again, that is if these fellows I talked to are genuine in the way they feel about India. They seem to be tho.

 

Politicians hate bad press almost as much as they love money.
