I just had some dinner. I was hungry.

 

I just finished a third of a foot long sub left over from yesterday by the wife....

 

That sounds good! Homemade or Subway?

 

Subway....tuna fish...it did the job of curbing the beginnings of hunger.

 

I cannot make a decent sub at home to compare to the combo of quality and price that Subway can.....especially for the $5 foot long specials.

 

I don't think anyone can duplicate the Subway ingredients. You'd need to use their ovens and copy everything else they do.

 

I can make a better sub, but would take at least an hour not including a trip to the grocery store and would cost at least $15...:?

 

That's what I mean... Subway has it down to a science.

 

some of their ingredients could be better....like the tomatoes...and some of the cuts of meat, but generally, they are pretty good.

 

I am going to put the garbage out, do the last dog outside thing, then go to bed....laters PM and Arrow....

 

I'd like to try a Thore sub sometime!

Hello everyone.... I had the best sandwich i've had in a long time the other nite... Not sure you would call it a sub... Was called a Hot Italian... Salami, ham, and a few other meats on a home made bun that was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside...... they melted two different cheeses on the bottom half of the bun... Added some fresh romaine lettuce on top of the cheese, a few yellow peppers, then piled the meat up high......another layer of the lettuce and some Italian dressing....... Served hot....... It was flippin awesome!!!
