Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Fuck, I always seem to miss out on SOTW when I choose the theme; I've just been really busy this week. Interestingly, I chose a subject that I thought might appeal to more sig-makers, but there are less entrants than the more obscure themes of the past few weeks. It can't be a coincidence because it's happened to me before, so if I have the opportunity to choose a theme again, don't be surprised if I pick something such as the headwear of Thomas Cromwell.

    I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to it. I was thinkin part of it might be that generic themes make it a bit harder to come up with an idea but looking back over the last few that doesn't seem to be it.

    I've picked themes deliberately to try to appeal to more entrants that didn't get nearly as much play as I'd have thought and other times (like last week) I went with a subject I felt like doing and there was way more interest!
