I'm in Vegas, all alone now. Will be packing up my folks household all week. Next week my sister and bro-in-law will be here to help put the finishing touches on the move. We'll then load up a trailer and take my folks stuff to Phoenix, minus most of their furniture. They won't need it. They will be living with my niece, her partner and their kid (my parents great granddaughter) from now on.

 

And you....any plans yet?

I don't know. I have a lot of alone time to think about it this week as I go about packing.

 

What's the premise for this thought process?

 

You may not be aware of this but my roomie (remember her?) is moving back east to Missouri, will in fact be gone by the first of the year. Soooooo..... the premise will be, oh shit! And the thought process will be, WTF now?

Needless to say, I haven't had much room to maneuver.

It's a little more complex than that Jack. What I want and what I like and what'll actually happen may have no relation whatsoever. That's often been my experience in this life of mine. But thanks, I appreciate you're positive, if somewhat simplistic, outlook. It's refreshing.

I really gave the simplistic answer because I'm not assimilated with all the facts and feelings.....still, I think you could work of it.

 

Well yeah, as far as advice goes it's sound enough. You know, kinda like, 'walk it off pussy,' when someone sprains an ankle.

 

I've decided that Monday's are going to be Barefoot Cabernet days from here on out....
