    I seem to recall on oblong building like the one in the picture being in Tampa downtown, not far from Yarbor City (that is a district in Tampa). Got lucky that time! [​IMG]

    Wow....that is a tough one as this scene is so typical of many coastal areas on both the Atlantic and Gulf side of the state.....but again a guess....Daytona Beach?

    As I said, very typical of many coastal communities of late in Florida, both small and large.....with the ArtDeco colors and the brick streetscaping.......

    and further up the river is Fort Myers, home of Thomas Alvin Edison, the great inventor. I have been thru his home which is now a museum....

    I liked that corner of Florida. We left after one night to drive over to the Atlantic side though because my cousin found it too boring and wanted to get back to the action (Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando etc), back to the theme parks and shopping malls. :?

    I prefer the Atlantic side myself. The Gulf is just too flat....no surf at all unless there is a major storm. Most of the action is on the ocean side too and that give me something to observe......to keep from getting bored....I was never one to just lay out at the beach....you know, us blond, blue-eyes types just can't take that much sun.

    I'm blonde and blue-eyed too, but I can take some sun. I liked the calmness and the mellow way of life there. Perfect for relaxing. You and my cousin would get along well. :lol:
