Remember yesterday when I talked about the police and ambulance and stuff? Turned out a relative of the lady on my floor died in her apartment. I helped the coroner hold the door so the funeral home guys could wheel out the zipped bag. It was pretty sobering.

That was a lot of real life to take in, for sure. I thought everything was OK when the ambulance and police left. I didn't see the unmarked black vehicles that stayed behind.

I slept pretty good. Leo tried to trick me and wake me up early -- he grabbed my arm with his paw as he sat beside the bed, but he doesn't know how the whole "clock thing" works.
