and its true, some people wont be happy til everyone is dead and this planet is uninhabitable..:sad:

 

Also (and I'm just saying this because I've had it on my mind,its not directed at you) I hate people who claim to respect life and then just don't care when an animal suffers....if you respect life, respect all life...................another thing that gets to me is how people don't eat meat for religious reasons saying that it's not right to kill something for food (have a lot of those here) but they don't acknowledge that eating plants basically the same kind of killing, it's still a life being taken......and philosophically I don't think we should distinguish one organism from another.

 

yeah, sun has been coming up for about an hour now..

no, i live in Pennsylvania, nothing but farms and forests around me..

i wish i lived near the ocean..

 

i feel the same way..

i got my cat cause one winter i was outside smoking a couple times and this cat kept coming up to me whenever i went out, so i took her in and 2 months later she had 2 kittens..

i wont get into the religious side of this, a lot of people get offended when i say how i feel about it..

Without being flippant, how do we survive if we dont eat both..
I mean animals eat other animals or plants and even some plants
eat other plants or small animals..

Most religious people are hypocritical, I've talked with quite a few of those and quite a few people who claim to be "spiritual" and through some comment or the other, usually about plants and animals........ I'm always left thinking "do you really even understand life?" because everything they believe is just really an inch deep.

I never said you shouldn't, that's the natural cycle of life......what I wanted to point out was the hypocritical of thinking that killing an animal is wrong but killing a plant is okay.....there is such a distinction between life.......sure humans and animals might be much higher forms of life than plants, but a life is a life, there should be no difference, philosophically.

Well think about it...........if a philanthropist doesn't even think twice before stepping on a spider.....how can he truly value life?
