The Attention Deficit Disorder Thread

as part of balancing the budget - our governor wanted us to vote on extending vehicle and sales tax (including liquor) before the new budget was release in July. the republicans didn't want a citizen vote - so the politicos in the capital worked it out themselves. i think that's how it went down, haven't followed it lately.

anyway, yes - propositions are big in Cali. also in Washington, another state i've lived in. you can't walk out of a store without someone petitioning you.

Nevada too. And the petitioners have no clue what they're collecting signatures for, they're just getting paid by the name. I just ignore them.

Probably is, it's sort of funny how a friend of mine refers to anything from beer to wine as "alcohol" ..............you can just tell he's never had a drink.

 

I know the type. And they say it with an edge of distaste too.

 

Not really distaste, it's like an alien substance to them that they have only heard of on the news..........I'd feel sorry for them if they weren't passing such laws.

 

All I know is, more for me!
