Ignoring or being indifferent to the outcome of one's actions is not the same as being ignorant of same said outcome, especially when money and/or power are involved.

 

I think they know too well what the results of their actions are, they just don't care or find other things (i.e. profit) to be more important. Whereas ignorance is the lack of such knowledge.

True, I was trying to argue that that selfishness in itself is a sign of ignorance, but on second though it isn't.

 

Getting a bit restless. Tomorrow I'll go out with a friend from Frankfurt who's in town. Should be nice, as there is a music festival at the harbor. As well as several cocktails with my name on them.

 

At the summer festival they sold these plastic palm trees which you could have filled up with a beverage of your choice and hang around your neck, just like the Eiffel Towers in Vegas.
