Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Can you put personal documents on the Kindle....or is it like an iPod where you have to transfer stuff through a company integrated program?

Yes, you can put pdf's and music files on it. I haven't looked into those features much since I don't use them, but it seems pretty straight forward: connect Kindle to your computer and drag and drop files.
You can even browse the internet, but only in black and white.

Ah, I gotcha - how long have you been living in your current place?

Yeah, I was pondering of getting one last Xmas and the e-ink ones were the ones that I thought worked best. But I couldn't justify spending 149 for the cheapest one at the time. I'm waiting for them to get into the 50 buck range before I dive in. :yup:

Heh... well, to clarify, he led his team to the NBA Championship which will likely be his biggest accomplishment in his basketball career. So it's a little more than just a "big thing".

Yo Furbs, did you feel that?

I've lived here for about seven years now. Time to move soon, methinks! :D

I paid 140 Euros for mine, and I just know next month or so it will be down to 100.

    I'm sorry I couldn't appreciate the extent of Dirk's greatness. :p

Ah cool - I've only lived in my apartment for close to 4 years now... love my place, but eventually want to buy a small house or a condo. Prolly in the next couple of years and definitely not in SF... way too much money.

I think I'll never be able to afford a house by myself. But I prefer city apartments anyway.... maybe one day move to a quieter area.

Yeah, I love living in the city and my apartment neighbors are really nice and cool - but I'd really like a full garage and have a dog again.

Btw, what holiday is it that you have the day off today?

I'd love a dog, too! I'd probably more likely to own a dog some day than having children.

    The current queen?

We have a thing called President's Day, which used to commemorate George Washington's and Abe Lincoln's birthdays in February (which used to be individual holidays when I was a kid) but now I think it's just an excuse to have a 3 day weekend in February and sales for retailers of all stripes. ;)
