Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Night then, yay. Hopefully the couple won't keep you up... Then again, use your imagination and perhaps you'll find it a more pleasurable slumber. :naughty:

i love that he said Revelation was written by someone waiting on a ferry.
there is something about that that makes me think he sees things completely different, or at least he has a keen wit.
is he still alive, can we get him to contribute to this thread?
    taht would be neat.

i pm'ed you back again. i think ive sorted it.

that the Book of Revelation was written on Patmos

so he is insinuating that this was written by a greek?
you know it does have the ring of homor in it eh?
i mean think about it. i wonder

i was listening to a scholar was an expert on origins of the bible, he said that some of the most prevalent stories that are currently part of that book were foot notes written in the margins of the original hand written interpretations. and that a lot of the stories have changed over time to accommodate something or another that the church was trying to do.

he is one of only a few souls that have actually been allowed to study the original and copied texts that are stored someplace he did not say, but i think its on earth.

at one point he noted how much nicer god got toward the end of the book.

Actually the conversation was about Patmos and waiting for ferrys.....so it was a reference to the context.

A large amount of the Bible stories are modified from older existing myths and legends....including the flood and creation stories.

After that most of everything was adapted to suit Christianity......Christmas was originally a pagan winter festival which was converted into celebrating the birth of Christ (the date of which is never mentioned in the Bible).
