Mumbai city spent close to 25 million US dollars desilting and cleaning up the gutters.....but left all that muck in piles on the roads.......yesterday it rained....and all of it flowed back into the gutters.



Now tell me that doesn't sound like sitcom comedy joke.



Also....the Municial corporation promised that there would be less flooding during the rains .....yesterday after pretty much the first rainfall....the mayors office was flooded.

 

but for 2 million they can afford to do it again, i couldnt imagine cleaning a major city here for that price

 

now thats pretty damn funny

 

Let me do the actual conversion and see what it adds up too, I just guessed on the 2 million.
