nature in itself is beautiful, the way the light plays on the trees, the way the winds sound. the way water shimmers. its breathtaking. but lets focus on death

half of all that dies is not a bad thing, death is more about life than you give it credit for. i say death itself is a thing of beauty, take the cheetah. it sits crouched in the grass, poised and loaded like a bullet. It is designed to fly for very short distances, so i has to wait, ever so patient for just the right moment, then with a huge bust of power, it is flying at almost 60 miles an hour (95kph) in a full sprint, every muscle in its body is being used to propel it at that incredible speed. its breathing alone it amazing as its sucks air to fuel its body, and while its doing all this, on uneven ground, pulling faster and faster with each step, it stops and floats for just a moment, litteraly floats in the air like a jump, bot without the spring, takes a front paw and trips the Gazelle, then as its flying past and falling at that speed, it latches onto its pray and hangs on for the crash.

I like slow motion video of a bullet passing through animal flesh, tearing asunder with an explosion of crimson fluid that which only nature could've created with such exquisite care. It's brutal and somehow prosaic at once. Very powerful.

Plus, it just looks fucking cool as shit.
